Miasma are a Manchester based 6 piece groove-oriented psych-soul outfit. Slick licks and popping horns weave between a strong bass driven rhythm section and a vibrant arrangement of female-led vocals, generating a psychedelic funk.
Once in a blue moon planetary alignments are said to lead to local miasmas: concentrations of funky air and strange vapors.
These miasmas are then blown on the wind and enter the body through pores in the skin, a contagious power ... that has an independent life of its own.
Once inside the body they disrupt the balance, improving your interplanetary funksmanship.
